A concept proposal that took the existing key visual of a conference ( an abstract photograph of LED lighting ) and turned it into an interactive, adaptable livery for a fleet of Tesla cars.
The global insurance industry insurer Munich RE were flying their CEOs to Monte Carlo for their annual conference and needed a memorable way of getting the VIPs from the airport to the venue.
So far, so normal. The hook to my concept would be that each vehicle would be adorned with applied vinyl graphics that had been printed with Lumilor® electroluminescent inks. By running a current through the electro-conductive pigments, an impression of flashing LEDs could be created by setting each colour as a separate layer controlled by its own circuit.
The colour changes would be controlled by the driver using a simple plug-in coded for the Linux based OS of the dashboard display. The electrical circuit change would be administered using Bluetooth signals. The UX would be big and bold so as to allow the driver to choose his livery without distracting his attention from driving.
