Living full-time in Germany, it was only a matter of time before I ALSO got obsessed with caravans
Germans love to take their home with them on holiday, or take a break at their static caravan, even in the depths of winter, it turns out.
What I find interesting is the amount of mobile homes that never go anywhere. Rather, their owners seem very happy to leave them by the roadside to gather dust, foliage, and a not insignificant amount of fungi.
This made me always wonder who owns them and what intrigues might lie within. Which, in turn, inspired me to make some hand-drawn studies.
The name for the project came from Japan.
