A painting of my daughters on the beach during a family holiday.
Drawing inspiration from Wilhelm Sasnal’s figurative work, I distilled a personal snapshot into a semi-realistic composition. By simplifying the surrounding landscape into bold, graphic forms, the painting captures both the intimacy of the moment and the quiet poetry of memory, where figures emerge from a near-abstraction yet remain tenderly familiar.
